Wiesbaden Wahoos Volunteer Requirements:
The Wiesbaden Wahoos are a private organization, and as such we do not receive money from NAF or MWR funds. The team depends heavily on family volunteer support. Each family must volunteer a minimum of 40 hours during the season. This can be accomplished by helping at meets, becoming an official, planning parties, fundraising, and many other events and opportunities. If you are unable to volunteer, you may purchase your volunteer hours at $15/hour. Your volunteer efforts however help keep the team costs down.
Volunteers may record their hours in the Army's Volunteer Management Information System (VMIS). Make sure you select Wiesbaden Wahoos Swim Team as your Organization. If you need any help please contact our Volunteer coordinator: wahoos.volunteer.hours@gmail.com
Here is a handy VMIS User Guide to walk you through the process. (click to view)
